Production Process
The core technology breakthrough and innovation system is structured around a four-stage technical chain: "gene mining - strain design - process scale-up - application development." This establishes a complete technical roadmap from basic research to industrial application, providing systematic support for the efficient research and development and production of bio-indigo.
Currently, the pilot production is stable at 30-40g/L. In the synthetic bio-indigo project, Daosheng Biology has delivered industry-leading pilot results.
Dao Sheng Indigo
Daosheng Bio synthesizes bio-indigo, derived from ancient indigo plants. Through synthetic biology technology, a new life form has been constructed – the Daosheng Indigo Microorganism. This indigo microorganism is specifically engineered for indigo production. Under controlled conditions, the indigo produced has high purity and yield, with excellent performance in extensibility and coloring effects. Bio-pigments and raw materials for bio-pharmaceuticals produced through synthetic biology are highly consistent in chemical properties and functions with naturally occurring pigments and raw materials, demonstrating the immense potential of synthetic biology in precision manufacturing and green production. Daosheng Bio® bio-indigo possesses antibacterial, deodorizing, and high UV protection properties, and its production process involves no chemical additives. With a bio-based content of up to 98%, it not only perfectly replicates the excellent dyeing performance of traditional indigo but also addresses the pain points of poor environmental friendliness in traditional chemical indigo and high costs in plant-extracted indigo. Furthermore, the product has inherent antibacterial efficacy and can be widely used in scenarios with extremely high safety requirements, such as medical textiles and high-end apparel, placing its technological level among the international leading echelon.
Indigo Jade Red
Compared to traditional plant-derived indigo, Daosheng Bio-synthesized Indigo indeed demonstrates significant advantages in both indigo purity and indirubin content, while also possessing multiple characteristics such as production efficiency and environmental friendliness.
